Justine Henin is the second woman to defeat the Williams sisters back to back in a major. Henin defeated Serena in the quarterfinals of the 2007 US Open then vanquished Venus in the semifinals. She then went on to win the final, too, beating Kuznetsova in straight sets.Martina Hingis was the first to do the feat in 2001 Australian Open, where she defeated Serena in the QF and handed Venus her worst loss with a 6-1, 6-1 blowout in the semis.
